US election proved Gaza capable of influencing US politics: IRGC Chief
Major General Hossein Salami says that there is little difference between Democrats and Republicans, as they both support the Israeli genocide in Gaza.
The enemies have entered the confrontation with all their capabilities and resources, while the Resistance Front is engaging them with only a portion of its power, Major General Hossein Salami, the Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), affirmed on Friday.
Salami stressed that the Resistance Front is at the closest possible distance to the enemy and is confronting it at point-blank range.
He indicated that the world is currently witnessing a political alignment by the enemy in response to the overwhelming rise of resistance in the region, warning that "the enemy seeks to turn the very concept of truth and falsehood upside down, trying to obscure what is clear."
The world has seen how the Resistance in Lebanon managed to rebuild itself and take control over the battlefield, he pointed out.
The IRGC commander further remarked that the Israelis are attacking anything within their reach, targeting Lebanese cities, yet have failed to control even a significant portion of southern Lebanon, as Hezbollah fighters are fiercely holding their ground and blocking the Zionist advance, he asserted.

Gaza Resistance capable of influencing US politics
In a related context, Salami said the only achievement that the United States has made in the year since Operation Al-Aqsa Flood is the destruction of its political image worldwide.
He emphasized that the the US' two main political parties, the Republicans and Democrats, are like Coca-Cola and Pepsi, meaning that they are the same with the only difference being their color.
The US elections have proven that the Resistance in Gaza is capable of changing the American government, the Iranian Major General highlighted, elaborating that the Democrats were the ones who supported the Israeli war on Gaza in every way they were able to.
However, the American people did not vote for the "supporters of the Zionist killing machine," Salami said.
According to the IRGC commander, 98% of "Israel's" economy relies on the sea, and if its ports were to be destroyed and the Mediterranean Sea became unsafe, that alone would be enough to bring it down.
He described the reality in "Israel" today as consisting of an exhausted army, depressed officials, and a collapsing economy with the US managing it all, further adding that the US' record in defending the survival of its allied regimes has always been inadequate and delayed as history shows, he added.
Meanwhile, "Iran is great and invincible, and no one can defeat it, even if the whole world were to unite [against it]," Salami concluded.
