During the past hours, US occupation forces in Syria brought in weapons, ammunition, and logistical equipment to their occupation bases in the countryside of al-Hasakah in violation of international laws and principles, state-run Syrian news agency SANA reported on Saturday.

The news agency cited sources as saying that a US occupation convoy consisting of 30 large tankers, guarded by armored vehicles, and another belonging to the so-called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) group, coming from Iraqi territory, "entered the city of Al-Shadadi (60 km south of al-Hasakah) from the east, and its contents were unloaded at the occupation base in the city" before heading to al-Hasakah through the western entrance on Al-Kharafi road.

According to SANA, the sources quoted SDF eyewitnesses as saying that "the load of the convoy that was unloaded at the base included advanced medium weapons, including anti-armored weapons, modern communication and jamming systems, in addition to large quantities of ammunition, including several containers intended to support" the SDF.

Last week, Sputnik reported that the US occupation breached the Syrian-Iraqi border with a truck convoy carrying logistical equipment.

A Sputnik correspondent said a US military convoy entered into the Syrian territory through the illegal land crossing of Al-Walid, coming from the Iraqi Kurdistan region.

Local sources in al-Hasakah told Sputnik that the convoy included 20 trucks transporting logistical materials, closed boxes, and cement blocks. The convoy was moving toward US occupation bases in the province.

On July 19, the US occupation brought into US-occupied Syrian territories, through the Al-Walid crossing, new military reinforcements also coming from the Iraqi Kurdistan region. At the time, the convoy included 30 trucks that were carrying logistical materials, fuel tanks, and packed boxes of an unknown nature.

The convoys were unloaded in occupied Syrian territory-turned US military base in Al-Jibsah oil fields in the city of Al-Shadadi.
