US failed to repeat Libya, Syria scenario in Iran: Raisi
President Ebrahim Raisi confirms that the US plots already committed against Syria and Libya have proved futile in Iran.
Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi met with a group of students in Tehran on Saturday and discussed the latest riots in the country, asserting that security prevails in all cities across the country despite all attempts to create chaos.
“Riots and the attempts to create chaos in the country are different from protests. The riots and those creating insecurity should be definitely countered,” Raisi added.
Raisi noted that the US and other enemies’ failed attempts to foment insecurity in Iran are similar to the conspiracies these enemies carried out against both Libya and Syria.
The president noted that the students need to familiarize themselves with their country’s progress even under the pressures and sanctions, adding that Iran’s resolve to get stronger is what led the enemy to look for new plots.

It is worth noting that Iranian leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei said Thursday that the world order is shifting, noting that "a new order will prevail in the next stage."
Khamenei said that "the hands and feet of the United States will be forced off all parts of the world in the new system."
Days ago, Sayyed Khamenei clarified that Iran's problem is with the United States, saying that "some Americans, without any shame, and with all the hypocrisy, say that they are with the Iranian people.”
"The Americans said outright that they killed Martyr Soleimani and supported the sedition instigators in 2009 in the hope of subjugating the Iranians. They also supported the Zionists' killing of nuclear scientists in Iran and withheld billions of dollars from the Iranian people's money," he reminded.
During a speech on the National Day against Global Arrogance, President Raisi said that the United States has "failed to isolate Iran" and called on Iranians to be cautious as the US unfolds schemes for chaos.
He pointed out that "the Americans want to block our oil exports and isolate Iran, but they have failed," adding that "Iran is present in every equation in the region," stressing that "no equation in the region can succeed without Iran's approval."
Raisi also stressed that "despite all the plans and the embargo, Iran still marches on the path toward progress and prosperity."
