On NBC's "Meet the Press," South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham claimed that a team of US senators is due to travel to the Middle Eastern region in a bid to persuade "Israel" and Saudi Arabia to resume talks on normalizing ties.

Graham said his trip to both Saudi Arabia and "Israel" will occur in the "coming days" alongside a group of senators to urge the US-backed deal to resume and go forward.

"There's a desire by both parties to move forward," he said.

This follows as two sources familiar with Riyadh's thinking stated on Friday that Saudi Arabia is postponing US-backed plans to normalize relations with "Israel", signaling a swift reconsideration of its foreign policy goals as the Israeli aggression on Gaza intensifies.

A more alarming crisis is looming as the available fuel for electricity generators is expected to run out within two days. This situation could lead to the decomposition and decay of bodies, worsened by the growing number of martyrs in mortuary refrigeration units.

At a White House briefing this week, US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan claimed that the normalization effort was "not on hold" but that other pressing issues were taking priority.

A source with knowledge of Saudi thinking claimed that Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the foreign minister of Saudi Arabia, resisted calls from Washington this week to have Riyadh denounce the Palestinian Resistance operation. This was confirmed by a US source with knowledge of the matter.

According to a Saudi statement, the Crown Prince assured Raisi that "the Kingdom is exerting maximum effort to engage with all international and regional parties to halt the ongoing escalation," underscoring Riyadh's desire to manage the crisis.

Just today, Biden announced that he intends to persuade Congress to pass a $2 billion weapons package to Ukraine and "Israel", involving itself even further in a war it is becoming a direct accomplice to.
