US-UK coalition renews airstrikes on Sanaa, Yemen
The United States and the United Kingdom renew their airstrikes on Yemen's capital of Sanaa.
The US-British aggression launched more than 9 airstrikes on Yemen's capital of Sanaa, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported Thursday.
The US-British aggression on the Yemeni capital Sanaa took place as hostile aircraft were circling the city's airspace, an Al Mayadeen correspondent said.
The air raids targeted the areas of Jabal Attan and al-Nahdain south of Sanaa, and Jarban in the Sanhan district south of the province of Sanaa, our correspondent added.
More US-British raids targeted Jabal al-Nahdain in central Sanaa, sources told Al Mayadeen.
The Supreme Political Council in Yemen stressed Thursday that all US attempts to end the Yemeni naval blockade against Israeli vessels or ships heading to the occupied ports of Palestine will end up in failure, adding that all US-UK airstrikes against Yemen were in vain.
In the context of praising the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) for their continuous efforts, the council saluted their military operations being carried out in defense of occupied Palestine and in support of the people of Gaza.
The council confirmed that the Yemeni stance in support of occupied Palestine until its decisive victory is unwavering and further praised the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in light of the conditions they are going through due to the Israeli war on Gaza.
A day earlier, the Yemeni Foreign Minister in the Sanaa government, Hisham Sharaf, reiterated Yemen's adherence to its stance in support of Palestine until the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation in Gaza cease.
In a message to the President of the United Nations Security Council, Sharaf held "Israel", with its ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip, and the United States and Britain, with their repetitive aggression against Yemen, responsible for the safety of navigation in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
The top Yemeni diplomat reiterated that the situation in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Gulf of Aden is linked to the cessation of the Israeli aggression and the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza.
He indicated that Israeli occupation continues its genocidal crimes against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip amid the shameful silence of the Security Council.
Sharaf also expressed regret that the Security Council deviates from its duties and responsibilities and becomes a partner in the legal chaos on the international scene.
