US-UK warplanes launch aggression on northern Hodeidah
Yemen's Hodeidah governorate has come under attack on Monday by American and British warplanes.
The United States and United Kingdom aircraft launched an aggression on Yemen, targeting an area to the north of the city of Hodeidah, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.
American and British warplanes struck targets in the Jabanah area in the governorate of Hodeidah on Monday.
The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) have been leading a naval campaign in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, who are facing an unprecedented genocidal war, launched by the Israeli regime and supported by the US and other Western backers.
Sanaa's campaign has seen great success in achieving its goal of cutting off maritime supply routes to the Israeli occupation via the Red Sea. Moreover, the YAF have also been able to carry on its campaign despite US-led militarization in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.
Eighth US multirole drone downed
On Sunday night, the spokesperson for Sanaa's military announced that the YAF's air defenses successfully shot down a US MQ-9 drone over the province of Marib.
According to the spokesperson, this was the eighth MQ-9 drone of its kind that has been shot down during Yemen's battles in support of Palestine. The MQ-9 Reaper is a highly advanced American unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) known for its intelligence-gathering and strike capabilities.
The last downing of this sort took place last month, wherein the YAF shot down an American MQ-9 drone while it was conducting hostile activities in the skies over Saada province.

The most ominous acts to the US-led global order
A Bloomberg report written by Hal Brands found that Yemenis are leading a successful military naval campaign in support of the Palestinian people that has "arguably beaten" the United States.
Yemen's Ansar Allah advanced the "biggest surprise" and the "ominous" acts to the US-led global order, the expert on foreign affairs wrote.
Yemenis have presented the "gravest challenge" to the US self-proclaimed guardianship over global trade routes in recent decades and have "arguably beaten a weary superpower along the way," Brands explained.
The Yemeni Armed Forces launched a naval campaign in support of Palestine in late 2023, hoping to establish an embargo over Israeli-affiliated ships sailing in the Red Sea, Arabian Sea, and Indian Ocean.
