Yemen will allow burning oil tanker to be towed from Red Sea
The SUNION has been burning in the Red Sea since August 22 after the YAF targeted the vessels for its violation of the embargo on the Israeli regime.
The head of Sanaa's negotiating delegation and the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement's spokesperson, Mohammad Abdul Salam, said that the government will allow the towing of the SUNION vessel from the Red Sea.
Revealing that Sanaa has responded to the calls of international parties, particularly European ones, the government has permitted the burning crude oil tanker to be towed from the Red Sea.
The ship was targeted by the Yemeni Armed Forces on August 22 this year, after its operating company violated the entry ban to the Israeli-occupied ports in Palestine.

Abdul Salam emphasized that the attack on the oil tanker is evidence of Yemen's resolve to target any vessel that violates the ban it has set on maritime navigation for Israeli-affiliated vessels and companies.
Yemen has been doing so in an effort to pressure the Israeli occupation to halt its genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip, as well as lift the siege on the Palestinian territory.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have sunk at least two merchant vessels that violated the terms of its embargo on the Israeli regime and damaged at least 30 others.
Yemen's military also seized the Israeli-owned roll-on/roll-off vehicle carrier Galaxy Leader in November 2023.
The country has been steadfast in its support of Palestine despite multiple aggressions launched on its territories by American, British, and Israeli forces.
