Venezuelan President congratulates Al Mayadeen on 11th anniversary
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro sends his congratulations to the Al Mayadeen Media Network on the 11th anniversary of its establishment.
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro congratulated Al Mayadeen Media Network, on Monday, on the occasion of its 11th anniversary.
Maduro wrote in a tweet shared via his account: "We send our fraternal embrace, full of appreciation, to Al Mayadeen TV, its board of directors, and its employees who work in defense of the truth and the freedom of the peoples."
Moreover, the Venezuelan President urged Al Mayadeen to "Continue your struggle" and wished the network a "happy eleventh anniversary."

Earlier, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel also congratulated Al Mayadeen on the 11th anniversary of its founding.
Diaz-Canel shared a video clip with a post dedicated to Al Mayadeen via Twitter, and commented: "From Cuba, congratulations to my friend Ghassan ben Jeddou and the staff of Al Mayadeen Arabic channel, especially its website in Spanish."
Diaz-Canel highlighted that Al Mayadeen is playing a great role in presenting the truth to the people.
Following a presidential decree, the Cuban President decorated in mid-March the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Mayadeen Media Network, Ghassan Ben Jeddou, with the Cuban Medal of Friendship in recognition and appreciation of his efforts in media and journalism during a ceremony held in the National Library in commemoration of the National Press Day, in the presence of a milieu of journalists, writers, and political analysts.
