Vinicius subject to the racism of Spanish football
Vinicius the Real Madrid forward player: "Racists keep going to games and watching the greatest club in the world up close and La Liga continues to do nothing."
On Tuesday, La Liga announced that it had filed a complaint to a Mallorcan court about instances of racial comments directed towards Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior.
In a video from Mallorca's 1-0 victory over Real Madrid on Sunday, supporters can be heard yelling racist slurs at Vinicius.
La Liga claimed that this was the sixth complaint it has filed regarding "racist insults or shouts" directed against Vinicius.
Prosecutors have put three cases on hold, but two additional cases are being handled in Valladolid and Madrid.
In December, Vinicius criticized La Liga for continuing to "do nothing" about racism at Spanish matches after receiving insults during a victory at Real Valladolid.
"Racists keep going to games and watching the greatest club in the world up close and La Liga continues to do nothing," Vinicius said.
On Tuesday, the Spanish top flight issued the following statement: "La Liga has been fighting against this kind of behavior for years, as well as promoting the positive values of sport, not only on the field of play but also off it."
Real Madrid is presently in Morocco to compete in the Club World Cup.
"Spanish football has a problem with Vinicius, it seems that he is the victim of something that I don't understand... And we have to solve it." Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti told reporters in Rabat.
Earlier in September, similar cases of racist heckling of Vinicus happened in the Real Madrid- Atletico Madrid Game.

It’s not 1 person, 2,3…it’s thousands.
La Liga better do something about it, it’s disgusting.
Not taking any action will say a lot about the league and 🇪🇸
