No entity can resolve its problems with Yemen via violent means, Deputy Foreign Minister for the Sanaa government, Hussein al-Aazzi, stressed, adding that the only way these issues can be resolved is through "wisdom and dialogue."

Speaking at a press conference, al-Aazzi praised Saudi Arabia's position on the unraveling developments in the Red Sea and affirmed that the Sanaa government will continue to seek peace with surrounding governments.

The diplomat thanked all residents of the United States and the United Kingdom who expressed support for the Yemeni people in the face of the ongoing aggression led by their governments against Yemen.

He called for efforts to bolster worldwide support for Yemen and "reject the aggressive policies adopted by America and Britain towards our region," explaining that Washington guises its aggressions with deceptive pretexts.

He pointed out that the American-British-led aggression executed approximately 300 strikes on Yemen, affirming that the United States "cannot escape punishment."

US has no consideration for 'friends'

Addressing other Yemeni political parties, the diplomat reminded US allies in Yemen of Washighton's treachery even when dealing with its closest "friends".

He called on those aligned with the US and UK aggressors to "return home", noting that the Yemeni people do not tolerate those who stand with "Israel", Washington, and London.

Commenting on the US-led Operation Prosperity Guardian, al-Aazzi said the alliance is one of "evil specifically designed to employ [as many entities as possible] as guard dogs for (Benjamin) Netanyahu's trade [security] to avoid bothering him while he slaughters children and women in Gaza."

He reiterated Yemen's deep-rooted intent of blocking Israeli ships heading to Israeli-occupied Palestinian ports until the aggression on the Gaza Strip comes to an end and the siege on Gaza is lifted.

In this context, he continued, "We assure the entire world that navigation in the Red Sea is safe, and we reassure European countries that there is no threat from Yemen to navigation. America is the first and only threat to navigation," adding that Bab al-Mandab Strait is an integral part of regional waters and that Yemen has the right to prevent any aggressor from sailing through the waterway.
