China consistently aims to elevate its relations with Russia to unprecedented heights, the Chinese Foreign Ministry informed Sputnik earlier last month.
The Foreign Ministry reaffirmed that Beijing will grow its relationship with Moscow within the parameters established by the leaders of the two states and noted that this year marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Russia and China.
"This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and China and the opening of the Years of Culture of Russia and China", it said.
China is ready to cooperate with Russia in order, guided by the consensus reached by the heads of the two states, to constantly strengthen mutual trust, expand cooperation, develop friendship, and promote bilateral relations to constantly rise to a new level," the ministry added.
Back in May, Russian President Vladimir Putin said, "Russia and China are developing cultural and humanitarian cooperation in the most dynamic way. As already mentioned, the years 2024-2025 have been declared cross-cultural years in our countries, their official start will be given tonight. The program of the cross-years is very extensive."
Putin highlighted that both nations have amassed a wealth of experience in mutually advantageous and diverse cooperation, resulting in numerous achievements across various domains.
