Eyewitnesses at the scene reported that Mesalmah was martyred as a result of the Israeli assault. In the aftermath of the event, Israeli occupation forces closed off the entrance to the camp.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health later confirmed that Mesalmah was martyred after being shot multiple times by Israeli occupation forces, near the location of the operation.
It is worth noting that the operation took place near the site of a car ramming operation that occurred yesterday, injuring four Israeli occupation soldiers, one of whom was severely injured.
Palestinians confront their oppressors
Operations conducted by Palestinian youth in the West Bank coincide with near-daily incursions into cities and refugee camps in the occupied Palestinian territory, resulting in the martyrdom of hundreds this year.
Every day, Israeli occupation forces arbitrarily raid homes, detain Palestinians, and wreak havoc upon the towns' infrastructure, attempting to shut down national solidarity, and extending its aggression on Gaza to the West Bank.
Earlier on Saturday, the southern West Bank witnessed multiple incursions in al-Khalil and Beit Lahm. Occupation forces raided the Ras al-Joura area in the city of al-Khalil and the towns of Surif, north of the city, and Yatta, in the south. During these operations, two young Palestinians were brutally shot.
Israeli forces also raided the homes of the individuals involved in the tunnel checkpoint operation that occurred in occupied al-Quds in mid-November. As a result, the homes of the martyrs Abdul Qadir al-Qawasmi, Nasrallah al-Qawasmi, and Hassan Qafisha in the city of al-Khalil were vandalized.
At least 315 Palestinians have been killed in such raids, while Israeli occupation forces employ attack drones, to strike homes and businesses in the West Bank, killing multiple individuals.
IOF ransack West Bank
Occupation forces have even gone to the extent of storming banks and currency exchange shops, seizing from them large amounts of cash, according to reports from the West Bank and the Quds News Network.
In Jenin, QNN revealed that the Israeli occupation stormed the Arab Bank and the Al-Quds Bank, as well as the Al-Khaleej Exchange and Fakhr al-Diín Exchange Company, and seized their contents.
According to reports by Ynet, an Israeli news website, Israeli occupation forces stole about 10 million Shekels ($2.76 million) from across the West Bank overnight, and about 20 shop owners were detained.
