Israeli occupation forces launched, on Tuesday at dawn, a large-scale detention campaign across the occupied West Bank, detaining at least 35 Palestinians, including senior Fatah leaders.
In the city of Areeha and the adjacent Aqabat Jaber and Ein Sultan refugee camps, Israeli occupation forces detained 10 Palestinians. Among those detained were prominent Fatah figures, including Nabil Abu al-Asal, Secretary of Fatah in Areeha Governorate, and Nassar Abu Dahouk, Secretary of the organizational branch in the Aqabat Jaber camp. The raids were accompanied by home invasions and violent searches, sparking confrontations with local youth.
Simultaneously, in the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, Israeli forces stormed in from the northern entrance, launching another wave of detainments. Over 25 Palestinian youths were detained amid widespread reports of assaults and degrading treatment of Palestinians.
Settler violence escalates across West Bank
Meanwhile, settler violence intensified early Tuesday, with coordinated attacks reported in multiple areas.
In Silwad, northeast of Ramallah, settlers stormed a Palestinian home, vandalized its contents, and caused significant damage. In Michmas, north of occupied al-Quds, settlers set fire to an agricultural barracks, resulting in the destruction of equipment and farmland.
Local sources confirm that settler violence, including home invasions, arson, vehicle torching, and physical assaults, has surged across Ramallah, al-Bireh, and al-Quds. These attacks, often carried out under the protection of occupation forces, are seen as part of a broader strategy to forcibly displace Palestinians and accelerate settlement expansion.
Palestinian Resistance fights back in Jenin and Nablus
The al-Quds Brigades – Jenin Brigade reported intense armed confrontations with Israeli forces besieging a house in the village of Marka, south of Jenin. The Resistance group said its fighters opened heavy fire on the invading units, which included reinforcements from elite units.
IOF used Energa projectiles and deployed warplanes during the attack. Similarly, in Nablus, fighters from the al-Quds Brigades - Nablus Brigade, engaged Israeli troops attempting to infiltrate the Balata camp. The Resistance repelled the attack with live fire, hand grenades, and anti-personnel explosives.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed the martyrdom of Sultan Nidal Abdul Aziz, 22, who was killed by Israeli gunfire during the siege on Marka.

According to Israeli military sources, Abdul Aziz was targeted in what they described as the culmination of a long pursuit. They said that the Duvdevan special forces and Shin Bet assassinated him in a raid linked to the Baroun Industrial operation, where an Israeli settler was killed, and his weapon and vehicle were seized.
In a separate incident, Abd al-Raouf Ishtiyeh, a Resistance fighter from the Balata camp, was martyred following an armed confrontation with Israeli forces in Nablus on Monday night. His killing was described by Resistance groups as a cowardly assassination during a brutal Israeli incursion into the city.
