Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said on Tuesday that a terrorist state had been established in Ukraine as a result of US and European support for the Kiev administration.

"As a result of a terrorist attack carried out by the criminal Kiev regime, war blogger Vladlen Tatarsky (Maxim Fomin) was killed and many people were injured. Washington’s and Brussels’ support of the Kiev regime has led to the creation of a terrorist state in the center of Europe," Volodin posted on his Telegram channel.

"There is no negotiating with terrorists, they need to be destroyed," Volodin pointed out.

He further recalled that political scientist Darya Dugina has been killed, revealing that Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) has prevented other terrorist acts against "reporters Vladimir Soloviev, Margarita Simonyan, Dmitry Kiselyov, Yevgeny Popov, Olga Skabeyeva, Tigran Keosayan, and Tsargrad group CEO Konstantin Malofeev."

"The Kiev regime is trying to intimidate and destroy all those who tell the truth. The blood of those killed and injured is on the hands of [US President Joe] Biden, [French President Emmanuel] Macron, [German Chancellor Olaf] Scholz, and other heads of state who support the regime of [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky," Volodin pointed out.

The Speaker's remarks came shortly after the Russian Investigative Committee detained Daria Trepova in St. Petersburg, Russia, on account of her involvement in the killing of Russian journalist Vladlen Tatarsky on Sunday.

The Russian National Anti-Terrorism Committee revealed for the first time that the Ukrainian Special Services and the supporters of the extremist Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK) planned the terrorist attack.

Russian investigations revealed Ukrainian involvement in the assassination of Darya Dugina in August last year.

Commenting on the series of events, Maria Zakharova, the Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, said, "All of this is being silently ignored by specialized international agencies, which can no longer be interpreted as acquiescence if not complicity."
