WH claimed Biden requested 'safety plan' for Palestinians in Rafah
The US president, while continuously backing the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, has urged Netanyahu to develop a safety plan for Palestinians in Rafah before the invasion begins.
The White House revealed that US President Joe Biden necessitated a plan to ensure the safety of Palestinians in Rafah before the advancement of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's military invasion of Rafah.
During a phone call between Biden and Netanyahu, the US president reiterated "his view that a military operation in Rafah should not proceed without a credible and executable plan for ensuring the safety of and support for the more than one million people sheltering there."
The White House said Biden assured Netanyahu that defeating Hamas and ensuring long-term security for "Israel" is a common goal.
This comes a day after the US administration requested that "Israel" pause the invasion of Rafah till post-Ramadan.
Netanyahu said in an interview aired on Sunday that the Rafah invasion plan will be in motion while simultaneously working on a plan to provide safe passages for the Palestinian population "so they could leave" to cleared areas in Rafah.
It is worth noting that the Israeli occupation forces have continuously launched raids on Rafah since October 7, despite the massive displacement of Palestinian refugees to the Gazan city.
Netanyahu's invasion of Rafah is part of his scheme to defeat the Palestinian Resistance, something the occupation has not been able to achieve in over 4 months of war and has coined as unattainable.
However, Biden and Netanyahu both agreed that Hamas should be defeated, paving the way for more destruction and the ultimate ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. "The President reaffirmed our shared goal to see Hamas defeated and to ensure the long-term security of Israel and its people," the White House statement said.
"He also called for urgent and specific steps to increase the throughput and consistency of humanitarian assistance to innocent Palestinian civilians."

Who is Biden trying to please?
This marks the first point of contact between the US president and Israeli PM since Biden criticized the magnitude of the Israeli military offensive on Gaza.
In an unexpected address to Americans on Thursday, US President Joe Biden criticized the Israeli 'response' to Operation Al-Aqsa Flood launched by Hamas as "over the top" on Thursday.
"I'm of the view, as you know, that the conduct of the response in Gaza, in the Gaza Strip, has been over the top," the Democrat told reporters at the White House.
Previously, Joe Biden allegedly referred to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a "bad f*****g guy" during private conversations, as per Politico.
White House spokesperson Andrew Bates promptly denied the claim, asserting that President Biden did not make such a statement and emphasizing the longstanding and respectful relationship between the two leaders.
The reported remark comes amidst a backdrop of increasing tension between Biden and Netanyahu over the past year. Disagreements on issues such as the government's judicial reform plan, the conduct of far-right members in the Israeli government, and Gaza-related policies have strained the relationship between the two leaders.
