What Israelis claimed to be a Hamas tunnel turns out to be sewage
It appears that embarrassment is further piling up for the IOF after the former head of the Military Intelligence Division in the IOF Tamir Hayman acknowledged: "We exaggerated in talking about the importance of Al-Shifa Hospital to the Hamas movement."
In another embarrassing turn of events, Times of Israel's military correspondent Emmanuel Fabian reported on Sunday that the tunnels that were alleged by the IOF to be operated by Hamas turned out to be "Weird looking septic tank/concrete cable duct for power generators/definitely not a Hamas tunnel."

On Saturday, an Israeli forces spokesman claimed that a tunnel was discovered underneath Al-Shifa Hospital.
On the same day, CNN issued a report stating that there were numerous discrepancies that surfaced from a video that was released by the IOF on November 15, showcasing a tour of alleged Palestinian resistance weaponry reportedly found at Al-Shifa hospital.
In a separate report, CNN said that there was no concrete evidence of the existence of tunnels under the medical complex and that nothing is indicating that the IOF uncovered a multi-level tunnel with underground chambers.
Israeli news reports later confirmed that the extensive propaganda that ensued following the IOF's invasion of Al-Shifa had caused disappointment among Israeli settlers, who believed that "Israel" would eliminate the resistance.
Israeli media noted that the leadership of the Palestinian resistance remains cohesive even after the incursion into Shifa Hospital, and its fighters continue to launch rockets toward settlements in the Gaza envelope and towards "Tel Aviv."
