White House backtracks on Biden's postponing of Gaza ground invasion
The White House states that during a press conference, US President Joe Biden allegedly did not hear the question about a possible Israeli ground invasion and only spoke on negotiations regarding the captives.
Reuters reported that the White House withdrew a statement in which US President Joe Biden stated he "would like Israel to postpone its possible ground operation in Gaza".
It added that during a press conference, Biden did not hear the question about a possible Israeli ground invasion, and only spoke on negotiations regarding the prisoners.
According to Reuters, Biden allegedly thought the reporter's question "was about his desire to release more hostages."
Before the statement's redaction, agencies published that the US and Europe were allegedly "pressuring" "Israel" to postpone its ground invasion against Gaza, in an effort to win more time to release or exchange prisoners according to Bloomberg.
In his speech on Friday, Biden said: "As President, there is no higher priority for me than the safety of Americans held hostage."
"The terrorist group Hamas unleashed pure, unadulterated evil in the world. But sadly, the Jewish people know, perhaps better than anyone, that there is no limit to the depravity of people when they want to inflict pain on others", Biden continued.
His statement comes off as both ironic and hypocritical, given the fact that he is turning a blind eye to the atrocities committed by "Israel" against the Palestinians for over 75 years and remains ongoing.

He additionally mentioned the hospital massacre, which he referred to as an "explosion", and expressed that he is "heartbroken by the tragic loss of Palestinian life, including the explosion at a hospital in Gaza — which was not done by the Israelis."
