Xi's visit to Moscow was 'very successful': China's FM
China's top diplomat says the presidents of China and Russia held 'very productive' meetings.
The recent summit between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow was "very successful and productive," Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang said on Sunday.

"Very successful, very productive," Qin described the summit in an interview for Rossiya-24 news broadcaster, adding that many agreements were reached during Xi's recent trip to Moscow.

The two leaders discussed bilateral ties and ways to develop them, in addition to regional security and peace, Qin said.
Chinese President Xi Jinping made a three-day official trip to Moscow from March 20 to 22, marking his first abroad trip after his reelection and his first visit to Russia since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, where he met with Putin and held what was described by the media as historic talks.
The existing relations between China and Russia demonstrate healthy development dynamics, Chinese President Xi Jinping underlined.

"Thanks to our joint efforts, Russian-Chinese relations demonstrate a healthy and stable dynamic of development. Political mutual trust is deepening between our countries, and common interests are multiplying," Xi said at a meeting with Putin in Moscow.
The two presidents also signed two joint strategic documents aiming to boost the two global powers' economic and diplomatic partnership.
It is worth noting that despite Western sanctions and blackmail, economic turnover between Russia and China has reached historic highs, with Moscow saying the objective of increasing trade volumes to $200 billion would be met ahead of time.
