The missile force of the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) targeted an Israeli military site in the occupied Yafa area using a hypersonic ballistic missile of the Palestine-2 type, spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced on Wednesday.

The operation successfully achieved its objectives, Saree confirmed in a statement, adding that the attack was in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their resistance and in response to the Israeli massacres committed against people in Gaza.

He added that the operation was part of the fifth phase of support for the Gaza front and in retaliation against the Israeli aggression on Yemen.

In light of the ongoing genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, Saree reaffirmed that the YAF would continue their military operations against "Israel" in the coming period until the aggression on Gaza is halted and the siege imposed on the Palestinian Strip is lifted.

The operation follows a series of long-range attacks conducted by the YAF, targeting Israeli assets in occupied Palestine. This latest strike triggered sirens in coastal city settlements and the occupied West Bank.

On Tuesday, Saree said the YAF's missile force bombarded a vital military target in occupied Yafa (Tel Aviv) also using the Palestine-2 ballistic hypersonic missile, achieving a precise hit.

He noted that the top-tier military operation, which successfully achieved its objective, came in support of the people of Palestine and their Resistance fighters, as well as a response to the Israeli crimes in the Gaza Strip.

According to the statement, the Yemeni Armed Forces and the free people of Yemen "are fully prepared and ready to confront the Israeli-American-British aggression," reiterating that their operations and religious duty to the oppressed Palestinian people and the Resistance will not cease until the aggression on Gaza stops and the siege is lifted.

Israeli Reserve Brigadier General Eran Ortal said that the confrontation with Yemen will last for years, adding, "We are at the beginning of a new era that requires us to rethink Israel’s policy and the army’s strategy to confront a group of threats."

In an interview with the Israeli newspaper Davar, Ortal concluded that "the deeper Sanaa gets into the battle against Israel, the stronger they become on several levels."

He claimed that what strengthened the image of power in Sanaa is that they are still on the battlefield against "Israel", while others have become less active, meaning that they are "the only ones who continue to fight against Israel."
