The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) announced on Sunday that they carried out a military operation targeting the Israeli Nevatim Air Base, located in the al-Naqab region, south of occupied Palestine.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for the armed forces, confirmed in an official statement that the operation involved the use of a hypersonic ballistic missile by Yemen and successfully achieved its intended objectives, underscoring the growing reach and precision of Yemeni Armed Forces operations.
The statement added, "We will continue to confront the US aggression, and we will not stop developing our military capabilities," emphasizing that both defensive and support operations will persist until the aggression on Gaza ends and the blockade is lifted.

Second Negev region attack in hours
This Nevatim Air Base strike marks the second on the same target within a few hours.
On Saturday, the YAF also launched a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile at the base. According to reports, the occupation's air defense systems failed to intercept the missile, highlighting potential vulnerabilities.
Early Sunday morning, the Israeli army's spokesperson acknowledged that a missile had been launched from Yemen.
Following the missile launch, air raid sirens were activated in the Dead Sea area and across the southern regions, signaling heightened alert due to the Yemeni missile strike on the Israeli occupation.
Israeli media further reported the escalation, noting public concern over the increasing frequency and intensity of such strikes.
Despite the ongoing US aggression on Yemen, which has resulted in significant civilian casualties, including women and children, YAF operations have continued.
These include actions deep within the occupied territories and across the Red and Arabian Seas.
The sustained military actions are presented as part of Yemen's support for Gaza to counter "Israel's" genocidal campaign, with Yemeni leadership affirming their commitment to resisting both the Israeli occupation and its US backers until the aggression ceases.
