The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) announced on Monday that they had carried out multiple military operations using drones and cruise missiles, targeting both Israeli sites and US naval vessels, in a continued show of support for Gaza.
According to Armed Forces spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the Yemeni drone attacks on "Israel" included two operations: one against a vital target in occupied Askalan, and another in occupied Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat).
The operations were executed using Yafa and Sammad 1 drones.
Saree stated that these operations were part of the Armed Forces’ ongoing campaign to strike deep within the occupied territories as a form of retaliation and solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza.
In parallel, the Armed Forces launched coordinated strikes against US military assets. In the northern Red Sea, the Yemeni forces targeted the Truman aircraft carrier and its support vessels using two cruise missiles and two drones.
Meanwhile, in the Arabian Sea, another operation struck the Vinson aircraft carrier and its accompanying warships with three cruise missiles and four drones.
Yemeni Armed Forces vow continued action
Brigadier General Saree affirmed that all operations "successfully achieved their objectives" and warned that military actions would intensify in the days ahead. He emphasized that Yemen's armed forces would continue their "support operations deep within the Zionist enemy in occupied Palestine" and target enemy assets in both the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.
Saree stated that "The American raids will not deter us from our supportive stance towards Gaza until the aggression stops and the siege is lifted."
Since resuming naval operations against the United States and the Israeli occupation, Yemen has maintained that its military response is tied directly to renewed Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Despite increased US military pressure, Yemen's leadership insists operations will continue until the offensive on Gaza ends.
The Yemeni operations come after US warplanes renewed their airstrikes on Sanaa and other governorates on Sunday evening, marking a continued escalation in the aggression on the country.
According to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Yemen, US aircraft conducted two airstrikes on the Attan area, located south of the capital, amid ongoing overflights in Sanaa’s airspace.
