15-Year Old Palestinian Martyr Falls by Israeli Occupation Fire
A Palestinian young man was martyred in Beit Jala; Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, assaulting Palestinians.
Al Mayadeen correspondent reported the martyrdom of Amjad Osama Abu Sultan, a fifteen-year-old, due to injuries he sustained after the Israeli occupation forces opened fire on him in the West Bank on Thursday night.
The Israeli occupation forces opened fire on a group of young Palestinians near the Bir Aouneh area of Beit Jala, west of Bethlehem on the pretext of throwing incendiary bottles, which left a Palestinian martyr and wounded another by the occupation’s live bullets.
"One of them was arrested and the other, who was shot, succumbed to his injuries”, the Israeli occupation forces said in a statement.
Earlier in the day, Israeli occupation forces opened fire on a Palestinian vehicle, injuring and detaining its driver in connection with an alleged car-ramming attack north of the West Bank's holy city of Al-Quds.
Hundreds of Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque through the Mughrabi Gate, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.
The Israeli settlers also uprooted more than 80 olive trees, and bulldozed agricultural land with an area of ​​more than 60 dunums, in the village of Al-Mughir, north of Ramallah.
