The United States' failure to affect Yemen’s military operations in support of the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza compelled Washington to opt for halting its aggression on the country, pointed out the leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.

In a speech delivered Thursday, Sayyed al-Houthi stressed that Yemen’s position was not, as claimed by US President Donald Trump, based on “pleading or surrender.”

He reiterated that “Yemen’s declared and clear priority is to support the Palestinian people against the occupation,” asserting that Sanaa's stance remains “fully steadfast when it comes to support, whether through strikes deep into occupied Palestine or through the blockade on Israeli vessels.”

Yemen ready to confront any new US aggression

He also affirmed Yemen’s full readiness to confront any new round of American aggression.

The Yemeni leader indicated that the US would not have mobilized all its resources, including aircraft carriers and strategic bombers, had the Yemeni people’s stance not been impactful.

Sayyed al-Houthi pointed to the complete and unequivocal success of the blockade on Israeli maritime navigation as part of the effort to support the Palestinian people.

He noted that the trajectory of operations into the depths of occupied Palestine against the Israeli occupation “has continued with growing momentum.”

Over 131 operations against 'Israel' since mid-March

In this context, the Ansar Allah leader announced that the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out several operations this week, involving 10 missiles and drones targeting occupied Yafa (Tel Aviv), Haifa, Askalan, al-Naqab, and Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat).

Sayyed al-Houthi further highlighted that the total number of Yemeni operations in support of the Palestinian Resistance since mid-March has exceeded 131, involving 253 ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic missiles, as well as drones.

Ben Gurion Airport strike reveals US-Israeli defense failures

The Yemeni leader also addressed the targeting of "Israel's" main Ben Gurion Airport by the YAF, describing the operation as successful, significant, and precise, noting that there is clear documentation and footage showing the Yemeni missile hitting its target.

He said this operation “exposed the occupation’s vulnerability to Yemeni missiles and the collapse of Israeli and American defense walls,” explaining that there were four defensive layers and several integrated systems protecting the airport, including the recently deployed American THAAD system.

He pointed out that major airlines suspended flights to "Israel", passenger numbers dropped, and the tourism and trade sectors suffered considerable damage.

The strike also led to a temporary shutdown of the airport and forced more than three million Israeli settlers into shelters, he added, noting that the widespread fear and panic among Israelis “plays a significant role in applying pressure on the occupation.”

US aggression on Yemen targeted civilian infrastructure

Despite the intense US aggression, the YAF continued to carry out a large number of operations, Sayyed al-Houthi confirmed, noting that the US launched around 200 airstrikes and naval attacks on Yemen just this week.

Since mid-March, marking what Sayyed al-Houthi described as “the second wave of US escalation against Yemen,” American air and naval assaults have exceeded 1,712 strikes.

In this context, the Ansar Allah leader emphasized that US aggression on Yemen deliberately targeted civilian infrastructure, which he called “evidence of American and Israeli failure to confront Yemen’s military capabilities.”

He added that the US failure to support the Israeli occupation “forced Israel to directly engage in aggression against Yemen.”

Sayyed al-Houthi explained that the primary goal of the US and "Israel" is to eliminate Yemen’s military operations, yet their failure to achieve this objective has led them to target civilian sites in an attempt to harm the Yemeni people, break their will, and weaken their support for these operations.

Palestinian people have will to resist but need support

Regarding the situation in Gaza, the Ansar Allah leader said the operations of the Palestinian Resistance fighters “reflect the effectiveness, resilience, and steadfastness of their position,” underscoring that “such a level of resilience" deserves the support of the entire Islamic Ummah.

He noted that while the Palestinian people “possess the moral strength to endure, they still need the backing and support of the Ummah.”

He underlined that the responsibility is “enormous upon the Islamic Ummah,” warning that its continued indifference to what is happening in Gaza “does not absolve it of the consequences of its neglect.”

Elsewhere, Sayyed al-Houthi warned of steps aimed at the normalization of ties with the Israeli occupation and full control over Al-Aqsa Mosque, including plans to destroy the holy site and build the so-called Third Temple in its place.
