The American aggression on Yemen had failed in its very first days, said the President of Yemen's Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, during a National Defence Council meeting on Sunday.
Al-Mashat, while chairing a meeting of the National Defense Council, stated, "Confirmed information says that the aircraft carrier USS Truman lost its command and control and has been out of service since the first days of the aggression."
He also revealed that "the aggression against Yemen was launched once or twice from the USS Truman aircraft carrier, while the rest originated from other locations that were monitored."
In this context, al-Mashat highlighted that the Yemeni Armed Forces had obtained crucial intelligence that allowed them to thwart the American aggression before it happened, steering Yemen away from potentially massive damage.
Yemen unfazed by US aggression
Al-Mashat stressed that Yemen remains undeterred by any challenges arising from its stance in supporting Gaza and its resistance, adding, "We cannot stand by while the Americans and Israelis single out the Palestinian people in Gaza."
In a message addressed to US President Donald Trump, al-Mashat stated that "the Yemeni people are not intimidated by your missiles, bombs, or strategic bombers."
He added, "In just 10 days, Yemen’s men overcame the electromagnetic interception system that America had once threatened Russia and China with."
US aggression failed to affect Yemen's arsenal
In a similar context, Mohammad al-Bukhaiti, a member of Ansar Allah's Political Bureau, affirmed on Sunday that the US administration has failed to learn from the experience of former President Joe Biden’s so-called "Prosperity Alliance," stressing that "Washington will not succeed in breaking the will of the Yemeni people."
During an interview with Al Mayadeen, al-Bukhaiti pointed out the contradiction in US actions, stating that while the United States initially asserted that its aggression wasn't directed against the Yemeni people, it subsequently launched attacks on critical infrastructure, including Ras Issa and Hodeidah ports.
He noted that the aggression had failed to weaken Yemen's military capabilities, emphasizing that while some had dismissed their statements as exaggerated, reality had proven otherwise.
Yemen is developing its military capabilities
Al-Bukhaiti said that Washington will only succeed in its war against Yemen if it manages to break their will, which is an impossible feat.
He stressed that Yemen continues to enhance its military capabilities and equipment, warning that "there will be surprises" in the near future on the military level and the nature of the targets of the Yemeni Armed Forces.
The Ansar Allah Political Bureau member added that "any people fighting for a just cause naturally excels in all fields; from military manufacturing to battlefield strategy," while pointing out that "Yemen's decisions are fully independent and not tied to any other state."
He emphasized that Yemen domestically produces all its military needs, from bullets to armored vehicles.
Al-Bukhaiti sent a clear message to Americans and Britons, stating that it would be easier for them to pressure "Israel" to end the war on the Gaza Strip, for Yemen’s operations to cease.
He warned that if any country were to ignite any front in Yemen, the response would be deep within the country targeting them.
Elsewhere, the Yemeni official emphasized that their patience for any aggression would not be long, and everyone must understand the message.
