Yemen vows military action against 'Israel' citing siege on Gaza aid
The Yemeni announcement comes after several warnings to 'Israel' in response to its blockade on Gaza, which is started on March 2 in a bid to pressure Hamas into agreeing to extend the first phase of the ceasefire deal.

Yemen has vowed to take action against "Israel" after it refused to lift the siege on military aid to Gaza, in a bid to pressure the occupation to lift the blockage.
A senior Yemeni military source told Al Mayadeen on Tuesday that "Israel" failed to abide by the deal and did not lift the siege on Gaza, vowing that Yemen’s next actions will be determined by this violation
The source confirmed that the army, along with all its military formations, has completed its military preparations and is in a state of readiness while awaiting orders, adding that Yemen’s naval operations are focused on breaking the blockade and ensuring aid reaches Gaza.
Emphasizing Yemen’s firm stance, the source said Israel continues to be the true obstacle to peace, accusing it of weaponizing starvation in a strategy they vowed to ensure does not succeed.
Yemen warns 'Israel' if it doesn't lift its Gaza siege
The leader of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, announced on March 9 that military operations against Israeli-linked vessels would be renewed if humanitarian aid fails to reach Gaza within the four-day deadline he set last week.
"We stand by our deadline for the entry of aid into the Gaza Strip, and our armed forces are ready to execute operations," al-Houthi affirmed during a speech.
Previously, Sayyed Abdul-Malik gave mediators a four-day deadline on March 7 to secure the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, warning that if the Israeli occupation persists in blocking aid deliveries, naval operations against Israeli-linked vessels will be reinstated.
The Yemeni Armed Forces declared their readiness to resume military operations against Israeli violations as Yemen remains steadfast in supporting the Palestinian people and their Resistance, with Ansar Allah’s political bureau warning that the Israeli enemy’s continued ceasefire violations, culminating in the full closure of Gaza’s crossings to aid, mark a dangerous escalation.
This comes as "Israel" continues its blockade on Gaza, blocking humanitarian aid from entering, aggravating the humanitarian crisis, most recently by cutting off electricity from the Strip, as announced by the Israeli Minister of Energy Eli Cohen.
