Despite the US-UK aggression overnight, Ansar Allah, the vanguard of the Yemeni Resistance, declared its unwavering commitment to targeting Israeli and "Israel"-bound ships in the Red Sea. The spokesperson for the movement, Mohammed Abdul Salam, condemned the military aggression against the Yemeni mainland.

"We affirm that there is absolutely no justification for this aggression against Yemen, as there was no threat to international navigation in the Red and Arabian seas, and the targeting was and will continue to affect Israeli ships or those heading to the ports of occupied Palestine," Abdul Salam stated in a post on X.

Yemeni politburo statement

Similarly, Yemen's Supreme Political Council member, Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, condemned the unjustified Western aggression against Yemen this morning, framing the aggression campaign within the regional geopolitical context and warning of an imminent retaliation against the savage aggression.

"The airstrikes [commanded] by America [the US] and Britain once again confirm that they are the ones commanding the aggression against Gaza, just as they command it against Yemen," Sayyed Mohammad Ali al-Houthi said in a statement.

Al-Houthi highlighted that what the #US did was a "blatant and unjustified attack, and it comes at a time when the world is pursuing efforts to stop the genocide in #Gaza," adding that the air strikes on #Yemen will not slide [without retalitaion], and, God willing, the… pic.twitter.com/O4v8b4xQ9P

US, UK carry out aggression on Yemen: Bahrain, Australia, Netherlands, and Canada support aggression

Around midnight on Friday, a US official told CNN on Friday that the US military had launched an aerial aggression against multiple targets in Yemen, adding that "the strikes were from fighter jets and [employing] Tomahawk missiles."

The Yemeni SABA news agency in Sanaa also reported that the American-Israeli-British aggression launched multiple airstrikes on the capital Sanaa and the provinces of Hodeidah, Saada, and Dhamar.

Al Mayadeen correspondent in the country reported that the aggression targeted the vicinity of the Hodeidah Airport and areas in the Zabid District in the same coastal governorate in Western Yemen.

Our correspondent added that the airstrikes targeted Kahlan camp, east of the city of Saada, in northern Yemen.

The Pentagon has announced that the US aggression has targeted 12 sites in Yemen and was conducted by warplanes, cruise missiles, and submarines.

Politico cited an official from the US Department of Defense as saying that the US and the UK, with support from Australia, the Netherlands, Bahrain, and Canada, carried out strikes against targets in Yemen.

The New York Times, on the other hand, reported that the Netherlands, Australia, Canada, and Bahrain provided logistical, intelligence, and other forms of support to the aggression.
