The Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree says the aggression will not deter Yemen from continuing to enforce a blockade on Israeli-linked ships in the Red Sea.

Following the joint US-UK aggression against Yemen overnight, the spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced that the aggression won't go unpunished.

"The American-British enemy has perpetrated a heinous attack on the Republic of Yemen, as an extension to its continued support for Israeli crimes in Gaza, with seventy-three airstrikes targeting the capital Sanaa, and the provinces of Hodeidah, Taiz, Hajjah, and Saada," Saree announced.

"These airstrikes resulted in the martyrdom of five individuals and the injury of six others from the ranks of our armed forces," he added.

"The American and British enemies bear full responsibility for their criminal aggression against the Yemeni people, and it will not slide without retaliation and punishment. The Yemeni Armed Forces will not hesitate to target sources of threat and all hostile targets on land and sea, defending Yemen, its sovereignty, and independence."

This heinous aggression, Saree said, will not deter Yemen from proactively supporting the Palestinian people's struggle for liberation. The spokesperson reaffirmed the Yemeni Armed Forces' commitment to preventing Israeli-linked ships from navigating the Arabian and Red seas en route to the ports of occupied Palestine.

A number of regional countries and parties condemned the savage US-UK overnight aggression against Yemen, targeting more than 60 sites and using more than 100 precision-guided munitions.

Iran

Iran vehemently condemned the US-UK aggression against Yemen, describing it as an "arbitrary attack" that stands as a clear violation of the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as international laws.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kanaani affirmed that the “arbitrary attacks will have no result other than fueling insecurity and instability in the region."

These military attacks serve as a continuation of the shameless support that the United States and the United Kingdom have pledged for the Zionist regime's war crimes against Gaza for the past 100 days, Kanaani added.

“While the Zionist regime persists with its aggression and war crimes in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, the United States and England are trying to detract the attention of the people of the world from the crimes of this fake, savage, and aggressive regime against the people of Palestine by expanding their umbrella of support for the Zionist regime,” he said.

Hezbollah

Hezbollah strongly condemned “the savage American-British aggression against the brotherly nation of Yemen, its security and sovereignty, and its free and honorable people,” saying Yemen stood strong, courageously, and with utmost responsibility by the Palestinian people and their valiant Resistance and did their utmost to break the siege imposed on Yemen by all means available.

The Lebanese Resistance group accused the US of “full complicity in the atrocities and crimes that the Zionist enemy is committing in Gaza and the region” in its capacity as the side that supports “Israel” and provides it with the means of mass killing and destruction and covers up its aggression, criminality, and assault on whosoever stands by the Palestinian people across the region.

Saluting Yemen and its national army, steadfast people, and honorable leadership, Hezbollah affirmed in its statement “that this aggression will not weaken them, rather it will only empower them and increase their determination and courage to confront the aggression, defend itself, and continue to tread the path of supporting the Palestinian people and upholding their just and rightful cause.”

Palestinian Islamic Jihad

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad condemned the American and British aggression on Yemen and the negligent stances of Arab regimes, framing the aggression as being part of the military umbrella provided by Western colonial powers to safeguard their military outpost in occupied Palestine.

The Palestinian Resistance faction affirmed that the American administration is the one orchestrating the genocidal war against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, echoing the words of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council member Mohammad Ali Al-Houthi, emphasizing that the Resistance of our nation's people will ultimately prevail.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement praised the honorable and courageous stance of Yemen, calling on the Arab and Islamic nations to take action in rejection of the aggression on the brotherly nation of Yemen, which stood up in defense of Gaza and the Islamic sanctities in occupied Palestine.

Hamas

Likewise, Hamas condemned the US-UK aggression against Yemen, holding both countries responsible for repercussions on the security of the region.

In a statement, the movement described the aggression as a "savage crime against Yemeni sovereignty and a threat to the security of the region, which is witnessing [increased] American and British militarization aimed at safeguarding the Zionist-Nazi occupation and covering up its crimes against the Palestinian people and the entire Arab region."

Hamas also affirmed that the "heinous aggression against Yemen is an uncalculated terrorist act, influenced by the will of the Zionist occupation and its extremist Nazi leadership. It will only lead to further escalation and tension in the region; Washington and London bear responsibility for its consequences."

The Palestinian Resistance faction praised the stance of the brotherly nation of Yemen and its heroic people for standing in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

The statement emphasized that the region of West Asia will not have stability and security as long as the Zionist occupation of Palestinian and Arab territories persists, adding that the US and the UK will have to reconsider their colonial policies toward the region and respect the sovereignty of Arab states and their interests.

"The Arab peoples will not stand idly by in the face of Zionist heinous crimes, the genocidal war against our Palestinian people, and the violations of our Islamic and Christian sanctities, foremost of which is the sacred Al-Aqsa Mosque."
