Yemen: Assassination Attempt on Governor of Aden Kills, Injures 13
Al-Mayadeen’s correspondent in Sana’a confirms that the governor of Aden, Ahmed Lamlas, and the Minister of Agriculture in Hadi's Saudi-backed government, Salem al-Souqout survived an assassination attempt in the al-Tawahi region in Aden.
On Sunday, at least 4 people have been killed in a car bomb explosion that targeted a convoy transporting officials from the Hadi Saudi Backed government, according to security sources.
"A car bomb that was parked in the mainline on Al-Mualla Street exploded while the convoy of officials, including Aden Governor Ahmed Lamlas, Minister of Agriculture Salem Al-Saqqa` [Hadi government] and another leader, were passing," a security source commented.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent confirmed that "At least 13 people were killed and wounded in the explosion in the southern province of Aden," noting that "the governor of Aden and the Minister of Agriculture in Hadi's government survived the assassination attempt."
