Yemen: Saudi Coalition Airstrike Wounds Mother, Kills Baby
This new crime came mere hours after the United Nations condemned the escalation of the coalition and its factions.
A pregnant mother in Yemen was wounded as a result of an airstrike by the Saudi coalition leading her to tragically lose her unborn baby reported Al Mayadeen correspondent. The strike, which targeted a house in the Hays district, south of al-Hudaydah governorate, also resulted in the martyrdom of Abdallah Sherian, a civilian.
This new crime came mere hours after the United Nations condemned the escalation of the coalition and its factions in the southern districts of al-Hudaydah Governorate, and held it responsible for a large number of casualties as a result of the escalation.
The UN indicated that the coalition warplanes carried out five raids on other areas in the Hays district, while three attacks were launched by drones on the mountain in the at-Tuhayta district, south of al-Hudaydah.
Meanwhile, the Sanaa government announced that it had monitored 327 new violations of the Saudi coalition, "including encroachment on Hays in addition to missile and artillery shelling with various weapons."
Yesterday, various regions of Yemen witnessed massive demonstrations rejecting the US escalation and the continuation of the aggression, the largest of which was in the capital, Sanaa.
