Yemen: Withdrawal of the Saudi Coalition Forces from al-Hudaydah Continues

Yemeni field sources for Al-Mayadeen say that "the withdrawal of the multiple forces of the Saudi coalition from al-Hudaydah Governorate is still happening."

  • Yemen: Withdrawal of the Saudi Coalition Forces from al-Hudaydah Continues
    Saudi coalition forces continue to withdraw from al-Hudaydah Governorate. 

Yemeni field sources confirmed to Al-Mayadeen that there are continuous withdrawals of the Saudi coalition forces from the southern and eastern regions of the al-Hudaydah Governorate.

The sources added that the withdrawals included large areas in the districts of Beit al-Faqih and al-Tuhayta in the southern countryside of al-Hudaydah.

The sources estimated the area from which the coalition forces withdrew at tens of kilometers towards the al-Khokha district in the rural southern outskirts of al-Hudaydah and towards the Mocha district in Taiz.

In turn, a member of the General Secretariat of the Popular Congress Party, Bashir al-Imad, said that the withdrawals from al-Hudaydah shuffled the cards and noted that there are pictures from al-Hudaydah that clearly show the withdrawal of the coalition forces from the sites.

He stated that all of the foreign-backed factions have their project, and they are working on the lines of an agenda "they know nothing about".

He added, "We hope the political parties will take a position that contributes to stopping the bloodshed in Yemen."

It is noteworthy that field sources reported to Al-Mayadeen yesterday that the Saudi coalition forces have completely withdrawn from dozens of sites south and east of the city of al-Hudaydah, western Yemen.

The Yemeni armed forces were able to liberate the center of the al-Juba district in the Ma'rib governorate, a few days ago, as the district's sheikhs, notables, and dignitaries announced their support for the army and the people's committees, until the liberation of all areas of the Ma'rib governorate.
