Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced the seizure of an Emirati military vessel conducting hostile attacks across Al-Hudaydah.

During a press conference, Saree noted that the Yemeni armed forces monitored this cargo ship, which was transferring military equipment for use against the people of Yemen, and made the decision to seize and transport it to Al-Hudaydah port.
Saree also clarified that the seizure constitutes a case of legitimate self-defense.

He declared that the aggression’s claims that this ship is a regular cargo ship were shown to be a lie and addressed the UAE saying: “Our armed forces have the capacity to retaliate to the aggression.”

Saree also said that the coalition must cease its aggression, adding that some important operations will take place both at land and at sea in the days to come.

Earlier today, Yemeni Information Minister Dhaif Allah Al-Shami said that the seized Emirati ship was carrying armored and military transport vehicles.

Al-Shami pointed out that his country "will display pictures of the military equipment on the seized Emirati ship," stressing that the UAE has initiated a "new strategy" against the Yemeni people following the visit of the Israeli Prime Minister.

Amer to Al Mayadeen: UAE interfering in Yemen by US guidance and for Israeli interests

Yemen’s Deputy Information Minister Nasreddin Amer told Al Mayadeen that the UAE had previously claimed to have withdrawn, and was now shown to have been lying. Amer also noted that the UAE is interfering in Yemen by US guidance in the interest of “Israel”.

Amer pointed out that Yemen is documenting war crimes and is sending them to the UN, despite its mistrust in the organization, adding that their intention was to prove the aggression coalition’s lies by proving that the seized vessel is military.

The seizure of the ship, he explained, marked a great leap in Yemen’s military operations, stressing that this operation proved that the aggression is failing at sea, and not just on land.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree had said earlier today that "the Emirati ship targets the security and stability of the Yemeni people,” and warned of any "aggression by the coalition against the UAE military cargo ship, which includes a crew of people from different nationalities and which was seized while it was carrying out flagrant aggression against the Yemeni people."

This was confirmed by the Head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Muhammad Abdul Salam, who said "the successful and unprecedented process of seizing the Emirati ship comes within the framework of confronting the aggression and the blockade.”
