Yemeni Armed Forces strike Yafa, Askalan in occupied Palestine
The spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces underlines that Sanaa struck Israeli military targets in Yafa [Tel Aviv] and Askalan [Ashkelon] in light of the aggression on Gaza.
Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson Yahya Saree announced Monday that the YAF attacked two Israeli military targets one in occupied Yafa (Tel Aviv) and one in occupied Askalan.
Saree stressed that the operations came in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their resistance and as a response to the massacres committed against civilians in Gaza. They came within the fifth phase of their campaign against the Israeli occupation and as part of the retaliation against the ongoing Israeli aggression on Yemen.
The first operation targeted a military site in the occupied city of Askalan using a Yafa drone, which successfully hit its target. The second operation similarly struck a military site in the occupied city of Yafa [Tel Aviv] with a Yafa drone, achieving its intended objectives.
The Yemeni Armed Forces emphasized their commitment to continuing military operations against Israeli targets in response to the resistance efforts in Gaza and in solidarity with the calls of the free people of Yemen and the Arab and Islamic nations. They reiterated that these operations would persist until the aggression on Gaza ceases and the blockade is lifted.
US F-18 shot down over Yemen
In a similar vein, on Sunday, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced a significant victory in repelling an American-British attack against the country, which was reportedly orchestrated to support the oppression of the Palestinian people and in retaliation for the ongoing support front that the Yemeni people have launched after October 7.
According to a statement from the Yemeni military, an operation was carried out with eight cruise missiles and 17 drones. The operation led to several key outcomes;
First, the Yemeni forces successfully shot down an F-18 aircraft, while enemy destroyers attempted to confront the Yemeni drones and missiles launched against the aircraft carrier simultaneous to the US-UK aggression against the country.
Second, the statement noted, that most of the hostile aircraft retreated from Yemeni airspace to international waters in the Red Sea in an effort to defend the aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman, which was being targeted.
Third, the attack launched by the coalition on Yemeni territory failed, and the Yemeni Armed Forces marked a crucial defeat for the aggressors.
Fourth, the USS Harry S. Truman, after being subjected to multiple attacks from the missile force, naval forces, and air force, withdrew from its previous location in the Red Sea towards northern waters.
