Brigadier General Saree confirmed that the operations in the Red Sea are in support of the Palestinian people and within the scope of response to the US-British aggressions.
Yemeni Armed Forces(YAF) spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced in a brief statement today that the YAF targeted British oil tanker “POLLUX” in the Red Sea, directly hitting it with a large number of appropriate naval missiles.
Brigadier General Saree confirmed that these operations were in support of the Palestinian people and within the scope of response to the US-British aggression.
He further stressed that the YAF will continue to stop all forms of navigation heading to the ports of occupied Palestine in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea until the Israeli aggression stops and the siege on the Palestinian people in Gaza is lifted.
Saree emphasized that the Yemeni Armed Forces will not hesitate to implement and expand their military operations in defense of Yemen and in solidarity with Palestine.
Yemeni armed forces targeted the British ship 'LYCAVITOS'
Saree similarly announced in a brief statement two days ago that British ship “LYCAVITOS” was targeted while sailing in the Gulf of Aden and directly hit by appropriate naval missiles
Yemeni leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said a few hours before Saree's announcement that the "forces of evil" are harnessing their capabilities and latest methods of killing, and supplying them to the Israeli occupation to kill Palestinians in Gaza
Sanaa has repeatedly confirmed that navigation in the Arabian Sea, the Red Sea, and Bab al-Mandab is guaranteed for all ships, except for Israeli ships and those heading to the occupation ports until the aggression against Gaza stops. Recently these attacks have also included US and British ships as a result of the US-British aggression against Yemen.
