Yemeni Scholars Assoc. urges general mobilization across Islamic world
The Yemeni Scholars Association emphasizes the necessity of supporting the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian cause on all fronts: media, economic, political, and military.
The Yemeni Scholars Association, during an event held at the Grand Mosque in Sanaa titled "A Call to the Scholars of the Nation to Fulfill Their Duty in the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood and the Promised Victory," called on the Islamic world, on March 25, for a general mobilization in support of the Gaza Strip.
Moreover, the Association stressed the importance of calling to action elites of various sectors, including scientific, intellectual, political, and media circles, emphasizing the imperative of unwavering support for Gaza and the Palestinian cause.
The statement highlighted the importance of raising awareness among the populace about the efficacy of boycotting Israeli and American products and companies, as well as those supporting the occupation.
Additionally, the Association underscored the need to sever political, economic, and security ties with the occupation, urging regimes engaged in normalization to sincerely repent during Ramadan.
Furthermore, Yemen's Scholars Association accented the urgency for collective action, led by scholars, to end the siege on Gaza, facilitate the delivery of essential supplies, and exert pressure on governing regimes.
The scholars reiterated their call for genuine and resolute support for leaders of the Resistance, endorsing their stance against America, Western dominance, and global arrogance.
Yemenis take to mass demonstrations in solidarity with Gaza
For the 24th consecutive week, Yemenis, on March 22, took to the streets in mass rallies in the capital, Sanaa, and 14 other provinces to express solidarity with the Palestinian people, condemn the ongoing Israeli massacres in the Gaza Strip, and voice their support for the operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces in support of the Palestinian Resistance.
In Sanaa, thousands of people gathered in al-Sabeen Square, chanting and carrying banners condemning the Israeli aggression and calling for an end to the blockade of Gaza. Similar rallies were held in the provinces of al-Bayda, al-Hodeidah, Saada, Dhamar, Ibb, Amran, Taiz, Hajjah, al-Mahwit, Raymah, Ma'rib, al-Dhalee, Lahj, and al-Jawf.
A statement issued by the organizers of the demonstrations stressed the need for the Yemeni military operations to continue in support of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood until the cessation of aggression and the lifting of the siege imposed on the Palestinian people.
The statement also called on the Yemeni Armed Forces in all their formations to carry out "more impactful operations against the Zionist, American and British enemies." It also congratulated the fighters in the Axis of Resistance and the Palestinian Resistance fighters in Gaza for their "heroic and continuous operations."
The demonstrators went on to pay tribute to the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and expressed their deepest condolences for the unprecedented crimes they are being subjected to. They called on all medical and health organizations to quickly move to stop the horrific destruction of medical facilities and the targeting of doctors and patients in Palestine.
The statement also stressed the importance of continuing the mass rallies in support of the Palestinian people and their sacred struggle against the Israeli occupation entity.
