Palestinian Islamic Jihad Secretary-General, Ziyad Al-Nakhalah.
"They united the Palestinian people, the ummah, and all the free people of the world," said PIJ Secretary-General Ziyad Al-Nakahalah about the 6 Palestinian detainees who broke out of Gilboa prison after the Israeli occupation forces arrested the last two of them on Sunday.
"Your passion for freedom and Palestine is greater than the enemies' prisons and cells," he added. Al-Nakhalah also assured the detainees by saying the whole world shared their hearts with them, alongside their fear over them.
The Secretary-General told the detainees they summarized the Palestinian people's will in a very turbulent moment of silence. "Six men... greater than all men," he said.
Previously, Palestinian Islamic Jihad had said the Israeli occupation forces re-detaining the six prisoners will not erase the IOF's defeat from history after the detainees broke through their security, igniting a freedom uprising.
PIJ affirmed that they would continue working for the liberation of the prisoners, holding "Israel" fully responsible for any harm to the prisoners.
The Palestinian organization urged all of the armed wings of the resistance to stay on high alert to protect the prisoners, noting that the battle continues and is far from over.
Ayham Kamamji has the dream of visiting his mother's grave
The lawyer of the Commission of Detainees' Affairs, Munzer Abu Ahmed, met with the re-detained Palestinian detainee, Ayham Kamamji, so the latter could reveal the details of how he broke out of Gilboa with prisoner Munadel Nafi'at two weeks ago.
The lawyer quoted Kamamji as saying that he arrived at Jenin Camp three days after he seized his freedom, and he met with Nafi'at six days later.
Kamamji asserted that the Israeli occupation forces shot at him and his lifetime companion twice, once near Afula and another near the West Bank apartheid wall. He also said IOF soldiers were standing next to them in Afula, where they were both hiding in the grass without being able to find them.
The detainee added that he hoped to visit his mother's grave. But, he was unable to.
The lawyer said Ayham asked him to force the "Israel" Prison Service to take him to a doctor to get a check-up due to chest, neck, and shoulders pain.
He remarked that the re-captured detainee must receive proper treatment after the abuse the Israeli occupation forces subjected him to at the moment of his arrest.
The lawyer revealed that his conversation with Kamamji lasted for about an hour and a half, during which the detainee spoke of his break-out and how the IOF opened fire against him twice without being able to arrest him on either occasion.
PPC: Scores of prisoners are subject to abuse
The Palestinian Prisoners' Club revealed Sunday that dozens of Palestinian detainees in the occupation's prisons are subject to abuse and oppression.
The PPC said the detainees would start a gradual strike on Monday as the first step in case the Israeli occupation's oppressive policies persist.
