EURO Cup Finals: Italy vs England
England beats Denmark in EURO Cup 2020 semi-finals
The final EURO cup 2020 game will take place between Italy and England, next Sunday at the Wembley stadium.
After Italy won a dramatic penalty shootout against Spain in the first semi-final, England beat Denmark 2-1 after the game went into extra time.
For the first time in history, England qualifies for the EURO cup final, and it is its second in major tournaments after the 1966 World Cup Final.
It is worth noting that England also played the 1966 final game at the old Wembley stadium and won over Germany.
The Danish team scored first within the first 30 minutes from a free-kick by Mikel Damsgaard.
However, the English team managed to settle a tie in the 39th minute of the game with Simon Kaer scoring an own goal.
And in the 104th minute of the first extra half, England earned a penalty kick executed by Harry Kane, however, it was blocked by Denmark's goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, but was then returned to Harry Kane who scored the winning goal.
