Lewis Hamilton takes pole in Mercedes front-row lockout in F1 Hungarian GP.
Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton took pole position for the Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring – the 11th round of the 2021 F1 World Championship season, with a flawless lap of 1min 15.419 sec.
Hamilton's last start from the pole position was in the Spanish Grand Prix.
This is Hamilton’s 101st career pole, the third for him this season, and the eighth in his career in Hungary. He will line up alongside teammate Bottas in second, who finished the lap in 1min 15.734 sec, with Red Bulls’ Max Verstappen third on the grid.
