Arlen Lopez has won men's light heavyweight gold at Tokyo 2020.

Cuban Arlen Lopez has won gold in the men's light heavyweight boxing at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Lopez beat Britain's Benjamin Whitaker, who finished in second place, 4-1 in the final. Lopez had competed for middleweight in Rio 2016.

The bronze medal was shared by Azerbaijan's Alfonso Dominguez and Russia's Imam Khataev.

Cuba has won 5 golds so far at the Tokyo Olympics, in addition to 3 silver and 4 bronze medals.
