Jamaica Beats US at Tokyo Olympics
Jamaica’s Parchment beats US's Holloway and wins 110m hurdles gold.
Hansle Parchment of Jamaica beats his US opponent Grant Holloway and wins the men’s 110m hurdle gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
This is Parchment's first gold medal, knowing that he previously won bronze at the 2012 London Olympics and silver at the 2015 World Cup.
Parchment was injured in 2016, and thus he was unable to participate in the 2016 Olympic Games Rio.
The Jamaican also missed the World Cup 2019 and was not among the participants in the previous two years, but he has now succeeded to surpass his US opponent, Holloway, who was expected to win the gold medal in Tokyo.
