Tearful Messi Says Goodbye to Barcelona, Eyes PSG
Sources said that Messi agreed in principle to a 2-year deal with Paris Saint-German (PSG) and will travel to Paris today for a physical exam.
Argentinian Football superstar Lionel Messi confirmed, in a press conference, he intends to leave Barcelona, where he has played his entire career.
“This year, my family and I were convinced we were going to stay here, at home — this is what we wanted more than anything,” said tearful Messi.
“I have still not come to terms with the reality of leaving this club now, changing my life. I love this club”
The 34-year-old sensation has been out of contract since the end of June, and Barcelona says they cannot afford to pay his check, with Messi reportedly agreeing in principle to a 2-year deal with Paris Saint-German (PSG) and will travel to Paris today for a physical exam.
The deal includes an option for a third year and will be announced at the Eiffel Tower in the coming days, according to ESPN sources.
