Ancelotti: English Football is Ahead of Other European Leagues
Real Madrid's manager Carlo Ancelotti admits that the English Premier League is ahead of the other football leagues in Europe.
Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has praised the competence of the English Premier League and claimed that it's ahead of other European leagues.
In an interview with Italian radio Rai, the Italian manager stated that “English football is ahead right now," and that this claim is even recognized by the Spaniards.
“The English play with a higher level of intensity,” said Ancelotti.
Nevertheless, the Italian expressed his happiness coaching Real Madrid for the second time.
“I am living my honeymoon in Madrid and I hope to stay for many years,” he marveled.
It is noteworthy to mention that Ancelotti is one of the few managers to have coached in the five major European football leagues in England, Spain, Italy, Germany, and France.
Other than coaching Real Madrid twice, he has led many teams such as Juventus, Milan, and Napoli in Italy, Chelsea and Everton in England, Bayern Munich in Germany, and Paris Saint-Germain in France.
Real Madrid is currently leading the Spanish league, La Liga, after securing 4 matches, one draw, and zero losses.
