Bayern Munich see 'final' bid for Tottenham's Harry Kane rejected
Bayern Munich offers Tottenham more than €100m for Harry Kane, who wants his future sorted before Tottenham's season opener this weekend.
A meeting of Bayern Munich executives is scheduled for Monday to discuss their pursuit of Tottenham striker Harry Kane, according to Sky News.
Bayern thought that the offer was a compromise. When club representatives met in London, there was at least a £20m valuation disparity; Bayern's offer on Friday narrowed that gap even further.
The Bundesliga club needed a rapid reaction, or else they would have to move on to other targets. That position is now being put to the test, and it remains to be seen what their next move will be.
Kane, who scored four goals in Tottenham's 5-1 friendly triumph over Shakhtar Donetsk on Sunday, wants his future resolved this week, before Tottenham's first Premier League game of the season against Brentford.

The 30-year-old is set to fly to Barcelona for Tuesday's friendly against the Spanish giants, but that may change quickly if negotiations break down.
Kane wants his future cleared out right away for personal reasons. His wife is expected to give birth in a few weeks and will be unable to travel.
His contract expires next summer, and Spurs fear losing a top goalscorer on a free transfer to a Premier League opponent if they keep him beyond the current transfer window.
Kane scored 30 Premier League goals last season for Spurs, who finished ninth and missed out on European football, while they have not won a trophy since 2008.
He has scored 280 goals in 435 appearances for the club, having scored his first Spurs goal in December 2011, while in the Premier League, he has netted 213 times in 320 Premier League games and is currently 48 goals off breaking Alan Shearer's record as the highest scorer in Premier League history.
