Belgium coach Roberto Martinez said the 2-3 loss to France after leading 2-0 in the UEFA Nations League semi-final was "cruel" and that his players felt the pressure to win the trophy.
Belgium also lost 0-1 to France in the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
He believed that the team must learn from its mistakes to face the other "very important" tournaments, encouraging his team to improve despite the tough experience.
The Belgian team advanced with two goals in the first half, but the French team scored 3 goals in the second half, including the winning goal for Theo Hernandez in the 90th minute.
Moreover, France will play in the final match on Sunday against Spain, who beat Italy 2-1 in the first semi-final on Wednesday.
