Emirati media highlighted that Al Ain was not the only Emirati club that wanted to receive the services of Atzili.
The media mentioned that Al-Wahda and Al-Jazeera were in the race to sign the Israeli player.
Following the announcement, some social media users rebuked the Emirat club for signing the illegal Israeli settler, turning a blind eye to Israeli occupation crimes against Palestinian people on a daily basis.
It is noteworthy that the UAE was one of the first Arab states to normalize ties with the Israeli occupation.
