Iraq beat Qatar to reach Gulf Cup Final

The final goal of the match was scored by Iraq's Aymen Hussein scores in the 43rd minute, and Iraq awaits the result of second semi-final between Bahrain and Oman to know who their opponent will be on January 19.

Qatar played its semi-final match against Iraq today at the Basra International Stadium. The full-time score is 2-1, in favour of the host country Iraq.

Iraq's Ibrahim Bayesh scored the first goal of the match in the 19th minute.

The Qatar national team caught up to the score with Amro Surag's goal in the 28th minute.

The final goal of the match was scored by Iraq's Aymen Hussein scores in the 43rd minute, just before halftime. The win qualifies Iraq for the Gulf Cup finals.

The final match will be on January 19 at 7 pm at the Basra International Stadium.

Iraq will await the result of second semi-final between Bahrain and Oman to know who their opponents for the final will be.

The second semi-final will kick off at 8:15pm later today.
