Israeli hooligans assault French fans at football game
After Maccabi Tel Aviv hooligans ravaged Amsterdam, unrest was brought to Paris during a Nations League game.
Israeli hooligans assaulted French fans in Stade de France, during a Nations League football match between France and "Israel", in the French capital's suburbs.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in France reported that Israeli fans were the first to assault the rival fans, confirming that Israeli Mossad agents were present among supporters.
The clash happened in the French city of Saint-Denis during the fifth round of the UEFA Nations League.
It is worth mentioning that the stadium, which can host nearly 80,000 fans, was only allowed to host 6,000 fans. Meanwhile, thousands of police officers, including elite forces, were deployed across the area.
French authorities had also banned fans from raising the Palestinian flag in Stade de France, claiming that the football match was no place for politics.
The large number of police officers was deployed in the area due to the unrest caused by Israeli hooligans when visiting European cities. On November 7, clashes broke out across the Dutch capital, Amsterdam, after supporters of the Israeli Maccabi Tel Aviv team physically assaulted citizens and chanted phrases inciting violence against Arabs and Palestinian children.
