NBA Announces List of League's All-Time Greatest Players
The National Basketball Association reveals a list of the league's 76 greatest players of all-time named by coaches, team executives, general managers, sportswriters, as well as several current and former players.
Michael Jordan, Oscar Robertson, Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell and LeBron James highlight the National Basketball Association's 75th-anniversary team which was announced on Thursday.
A panel of voters was asked to choose the 75 greatest players of all time, but the league ended up settling on 76 players instead of 75. They did not rank the players by number or position.
Combined, the players on the list have won a total of 158 NBA championships, 110 MVP awards, 730 all-star selections, and scored more than 1.5 million points.

Six international stars were named to the team: Giannis Antetokounmpo (Greece), Patrick Ewing (Jamaica), Steve Nash (Canada), Dirk Nowitzki (Germany) and Hakeem Olajuwon (Nigeria) and Tim Duncan (US Virgin Islands).
In addition, the list comprised of 11 active NBA players: Giannis Antetokounmpo, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Stephen Curry, Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, Damian Lillard, Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook.
The voting panel included coaches, team executives, general managers, sportswriters, as well as several current and former players who were also on the list including Rick Barry, Julius Erving, Stephen Curry, and Scottie Pippen.
Bill Russell, Bob Cousy, George Mikan and Bob Pettit were the only players named to all four NBA Anniversary lists since its establishment.
