As usual, the Chilean club Palestino rushed to express its support for Palestine amid the continuous Israeli occupation aggression against the Gaza Strip.

According to the Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed as a result of the ongoing Israeli occupation aggression against Gaza rose to 33 martyrs, including six Resistance leaders, and 111 injured.

Before the kickoff of a match in the local league, the team's players went out on the pitch wearing the Palestinian keffiyeh.

On Twitter, Palestino shared a video clip of its players wearing the keffiyeh, in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

This is not the first time that the team expresses its solidarity with the Palestinian cause.

Established in 1920 by Palestinian immigrants, the club is famous for supporting Palestine and raising awareness about the Palestinian cause.

In October 2021, the Club announced the opening of its new football training academy for children in the Gaza Strip, after it launched its first academy in Ramallah in September of the same year.

It is noteworthy that Chile is home to the largest Palestinian community outside the Middle East.
