Argentina’s senate passes Milei bill amid ongoing protests
After failing to pass any legislation during his first six months in office, Argentinian President Javier Milei is one step closer to passing his controversial reform bill. The lawmakers still have to approve individual measures in an article-by-article vote. If the upper house approves the bills with modifications, the lower house would still have to approve them before the law officially passes. People in Argentina have continued to protest against Milei's potential reforms due to the negative impacts they say these reforms would have on them.
