Georges Abdallah on preventing Lebanon’s Somalization, role of Resistance masses

In his interview for Al Mayadeen, freed Lebanese revolutionary Georges Abdallah warns of plans to fragment the Arab Mashreq into sectarian and ethnic blocs under imperialist and Israeli control. He stresses that only the Resistance in Lebanon has both the interest and the power to prevent the country’s "Somalization" and to lead the way in building a non-sectarian nation-state with a strong, dignified armed forces.
